Plus taxes:
- 8% provincial sales tax (PST)
- 3% municipal and regional district tax (MRDT – note this goes directly to the Hornby community)
- 5% goods and services tax. (GST)
A 50% deposit is required upon booking and the balance is due on April 1st. A $1,000 damage deposit will be charged 1 week prior to rental, refundable within one week of your stay.
In the event of a cancellation, we will refund 100% of the monies collected when we successfully rebook the same dates less a $150 administration fee.
We reserve the right to cancel should the rules on short term rentals on Hornby Island, BC change by the end of April 2025. Should that be the case, all the money including the $150 administration fee will be refunded.
